Can we talk about this shirt? It has TWO sets of buttons! Two! I've never even dreamed about that! Nice work, Taylor.

Our new buddy Frederick (or as I call him, "You work at RENTERTAY-AYNMENT!") knows the importance of a snappy pair of shoes. Five stars.

Apologies for the poor quality photos. If you'd like to donate a thousand dollar SLR camera you'll receive a free dinner at Allen Hall with us.

Jesse's plastic sunglasses. bandanna, and mechanic's shirt might be called gas station chic

On a rare trip into the depths of Champaign, we found this charmer. Coordinating your shorts to your hair always works.

It's Raining Men

Any boy who can pull of a fair isle cardigan gets mad style props. Notice the amazing use of brights!

Evan is one of the few chambanites who remains fresh 2 def.

Books & Music

This gentleman is the perfect example of studying in style at the Undergrad Library. Note how well the Alfalfa hairstyle complements the animal-print pullover.

Daniela was a vision in plaid at the free Redwalls concert last night! This dreamy ensemble is made complete by beautiful braided sandals and, well, the lovely homemade purse? She git it from her Mawwwma.

Andrew Bird at The Canopy Club & beyond.

Sometimes friends dress the same through osmosis (Or, in the case of Andrew Bird, Imitosis?). Like, I know there were a lot of times this winter when my girl Paulina and I would both roll up in the dining hall with similar elementary school teacher jumpers and flat boots on. Obviously, Bird and his fellow bandmember Jeremy Ylvisaker have the same issue. We can't complain about their coordinating neutrals, perfectly fitted jeans, and tailored blazers.

Even in the midst of all his whistling and dreamboat mannerisms, I couldn't take my eyes of off Andrew Bird's tie, which was daintily adorned with a delicate bird. The magic is in the details. And the glockenspiel.

Ian's color choice is superb. He certainly knows how to mix it up, with a vintage women's top and...

I've fallen and I can't get up

This lovely lady lets nothing get in the way of staying sassy. Being injured would be a great excuse to exist in a greasy-haired, unaccessorized stupor, wearing sweatpants stolen from the lost and found, but despite her crutches, Ali still manages to look like a wood nymph.

Although Aisha has full use of all of her limbs, we still give her mad style points for her striking white top and vintage metallic flats. And the jeans? They're by Jessica Simpson.

Cutie in the stripes knows how to keep it cool when the weather starts feeling straight up equatorial. Her grey shorts are just the right length. Girls, make sure you follow Annie's lead and keep the goodies under wraps when you're roaming the quad. Boys, short shorts are in this summer, jump on it! The outfit is topped off by animal print flats, a Lesportsac backpack (we told you they were in), and perfect sunglasses- A+

Marty S. says "As long as I'm not a 'Don't', you can put me up here." With that fur-lined tweed coat, we'd never dream of it.

Style tip: red accessories show off Zubat's cool colors.

Lastly, the Wall Street Journal you get with your Econ 103 book (and stack on your bookshelf in lieu of reading it) makes for great toxic clouds when one is Koffing.

A Little Spandex Never Hurt

If you want to look good, you have two options.
You can either be a black clad vision of perfection like Olivia. Slim jeans and oversize hoods are as much a classic as a string of pearls and a Chanel bag...

Or you can dress like a superhero.

Morning glory

I ran into this lil lady on her way to class the other morning and had to whip out my camera.

The backpack is a very practical and sporty look for spring. Expect to see it on the runways soon.

(I swear, we're going to start focusing on people other than ourselves/close friends any day now.)

Rainy Day Women [and a man]

Grey skies call for:

grey jeans,

grey tights (and socks),

and grey stripes.

“Style is a magic wand, and turns everything to gold that it touches”

In this post we have plenty of cute kids, but nothing can top dinosuar print thermal pajama pants with no shirt.

Morgan, 19, mixes Banana Republic (the jacket) and Reeboks (the shoes).

Oliver gets 200 Chief Styllini points for being from Paris, and an extra 75 for his chic blazer and understated v-neck.

Polos are a wardrobe staple for men, but Marcin manages to elevate his with a pop of yellow underneath and a vest thrown on top.

Gore Vidal once said, "style is knowing who you are and not giving a damn." Obviously, Patrick lives by this mantra.

[Bike] Gangs of CU

Hey kids, There's nothing like a sunny spring day to bring style to the streets.

Homegirl in the helmet, wearing her second outfit of the day, proudly stated "There is not a part of me that's not covered in patterns." We expect nothing less.

Caught in action earlier this week is our lil buddy JC.
Even when swathed in the darkness of a chilly Champaign night,
J manages to bring an edge to the bike paths. Please note the
skinny jeans/keds combo, which is ubiquitous this season.

Get ready, this weekend promises loads of wardrobe magic.
